SMPro AMCA Central Group Championship Registration

For 2018 the AMCA Central Group are offering something a little different in the form of a number of championships open to AMCA members.  

The SM PRO Central Group Championship.

A championship series comprising 5 – 10 rounds, accommodating 4 race classes for all ages and abilities.

  • Juniors
  • Clubman (Senior/Expert)
  • Elite (AMCA Championship pre qualifiers)
  • Vets (Over 40 Jnr/Sen/Exp Including Evo/Super Evo)

There will also be support classes at all events.

General Rules (Apply to all classes)

  • Registration for all classes will be charged at £20.00.
  • All registrations are only valid in conjunction with a 2018 AMCA licence.
    • Refunds will not be given, except in exceptional circumstances (injury etc)
    • No refunds after the first round has been run.
  • Registration is limited to 36 Riders per class, on a first come first served basis.
    • Reserves will be accepted and will be added on a first come first served basis.
  • Registered riders will be able to enter through their club or online directly into the championship race they are registering for.
  • Only registered riders will score in any championship class. (Registered via this page at least 2 weeks in advance of any event) 
    • If a registered rider fails to attend an event, his/her place will be offered to reserves on a first come first served basis.
  • All championship races are of 15 minute duration (subject to host club discretion)
  • A rider who is upgraded during the championship series will remain in his/her registered class for the remainder of the championship. (Only applied to championship events)
  • Clubs, may at their discretion add non registered riders into championship class races. (see below) 
    • Non registered riders inc ODLs will be removed from the points for all race results and the overall.
    • Non scoring riders will be asked to mark their number boards accordingly.
  • Championship classes will be scored and prizes awarded based on the class specific rules below.
  • A rider may enter more than one championship class, so long as they meet the entry criteria for each class entered. The rider must register for both classes.
  • All trophy winners will be expected to attend a presentation at the end of the day (Trophies will not be given out early!!) 
  • 100% of revenue received will be invested back into the championship as prizes or to cover the costs associated with running the series.

Class Specific Rules – 85/150 Cancelled

  • Minimum age of 9 years old, maximum age of 15 years old on 1st January 2018
  • The only permitted capacity of machine shall be 85 2-Stroke / 150 4-Stroke)
  • This class will be scored as one class.
  • This class may be combined with the inter junior class as required on the day by the host club (subject to entries. scored separately)
  • 8 of 10 rounds to count.

Class Specific Rules – Junior

  • All junior Riders.
  • This is an open class for any machine size.
  • This class will be scored as one class.
  • 8 of 10 rounds to count.

Class Specific Rules – Clubman 

  • Senior and Expert Riders
    • The Clubman class excludes 2018 AMCA MX1/ MX2/ 2 Stroke/ Vets Championship pre qualifiers. (See elite class below)
  • This is an open class for any machine size.
  • This class will be scored as one class.
  • 8 of 10 rounds to count.

Class Specific Rules – Veterans/Super Evo/Evo 

  • Vets – Junior, Senior and Expert riders.
    • Over 40 on the day of the first event of the series.
    • Riders approaching 40 may pre register and will become eligible to enter events on their 40th birthday. (Space permitting)
  • Super Evo/Evo – Junior, Senior and Expert riders.
    • Rider must be over 40 if junior rider.
    • Machine must be pre 2000
    • Twin shock are welcome but will be expected to race alongside the other classes.
  • This class will be scored:-
    • Vets – Junior & Senior/Expert scored separately
      • Overall prize will be offered to the highest point scorer in any one class.
    • 7 from 9 rounds to count.

Class Specific Rules – Elite 

  • AMCA Expert Riders 
  • This is an open class for any machine size.
  • This class will be scored as one class.
  • 4 from 5 rounds to count.
